GeoSIM customers can now use Text2TopUp to add call credit to their Global SIM card with out the need for Internet access.
Text2TopUp has been upgraded allowing customers to top up by sending an SMS from any of the 200 plus countries GeoSIM has coverage in.
Customers are required to register for the service in their online account.
Customers who had previously registered for Text2TopUp are also required to update their details and preferences before they can use Text2TopUp again.
GeoSIM call forwarding charges to Iraq mobile and landlines have been increased from free to £0.10 or $0.15 per minute.
Call forwarding to Iraq at weekends has been reduced from £0.14 / $0.21 per minute to £0.10 / $0.15 per minute.
These changes take effect from 1st April 2011
All GeoSIMs have now been enabled for Roaming Data.
You need to set up a new Access point Name (APN) on your device before you can check email and surf the web using your Global SIM Card.

One of the advantages of GeoSIM global SIM card is that you can forward or divert any call made to your GeoSIM to any phone number anywhere in the world. Diverting is free of charge to over 150 countries including Iran, USA, Iraq, Bangladesh, Europe and many more.
Setting up a call divert means you’ll never need to miss a call again if you have your GeoSIM switched off. Or, you could use your GeoSIM as a “call through” number so you can call overseas for free.
Some networks allow you to call a GeoSIM number for free. This means that you can effectively call anywhere in the world for free from your regular UK mobile.
To set up a divert, simply log in to the Admin area for your GeoSIM and enter the number you want to forward or divert your incoming calls to. The next time your GeoSIM number is called, the phone you have set up as the divert number will ring.
Just one of the many benefits that GeoSIM has that other international SIM cards dont.

GeoSIM has recently upgraded some of its key hardware, namely the Call Controllers. The new Call Controllers provide a faster callback when making a call and provide more stability and increased system redundancy.
Users will also notice that when they receive the callback, the caller ID will be their own GeoSIM number.
These upgrades ensure GeoSIM customers continue to receive the highest and fastest levels of service in the Global SIM sector.
