us-uk_flag_204x106

At long last we’ve launched our new Multi Number GeoSIM which gives users the unenviable privileged of free incoming calls in the USA and calling rates of £0.28 ($0.46) per minute witin the US and back to Europe.

Calls from the EU to the US are also set a a flat rate of £0.28 ($0.46) per minute.

Technically known as a multi imsi or dual imsi SIM card, the SIM has more than one phone number.  Either number can be called from anywhere in the world and the call will connect no matter where the SIM is.

Operating in over 200 countries, the new SIM provides coverage in all the major holiday and business destinations, plus many more.

Pre Delivery Orders Now Being Taken

dual imsi SIM

GeoSIM is about to launch it’s “market shaking” Dual IMSI SIM. The SIM will have a UK and a USA number assigned to it, making it extremely convenient to those who travel between the UK and US. Planned release date is mid MAY.

Pre ordering is now available.

The biggest shake up is that calls will be free to receive in the USA.

Roaming in the USA has always been expensive, which is ironic given that calling to and within the US is very cheap with landlines and mobiles. Even with GeoSIM, the incoming and outgoing call charges have been relatively high when compared with Europe, but all this is about to change.

The USA will now effectively become “part of Europe” in terms of GeoSIMs call rates and callers will be able to call the relevant number depending on what side of the “pond” they are on.

The GeoSIM will have better coverage nationwide than “the locals” in the USA as it will register on more than one network and uses carriers such as T-Mobile and AT&T.

The final pieces are being put in place for the dual number GeoSIM with a planned release date in early to mid May. Keep your eyes and ears open for more announcements about this fantastic service or PRE ORDER

GeoSIM Dual - One SIM, Two numbers, USA and UK

GeoSIM Dual - One SIM, Two numbers, USA and UK

Free incoming calls in the USA on your mobile

GeoSIM is about to release its latest version of Global SIM card. It will have two phone numbers, a US one and UK based one.  But the major benefit is that incoming calls will be free in the USA.

Currently incoming call charges are in between of £0.50 and £1.00 per minute for any “foreign” mobiles roaming in the USA.  But with the new GeoSIM Dual, incoming calls will be free in the USA as they are in Europe and many other countries GeoSIM covers.

GeoSIM Dual will be able to register on more than one network effectively giving it better coverage than the likes of AT&T and T-Mobile country wide.

Up until now, travellers to the USA have had to pay for incoming calls to mobiles and paid higher charges for making calls.  These high charges are due to local networks charging what is called a “Mobile Termination Charge”, or MTC.  This is an additional charge on top of the normal call rate which is normally just a few cents. The MTC makes up the majority of the total call cost.

By cleverly “getting rid of” the MTC, GeoSIM can now offer sensible calling and receiving costs in the US for travellers and business people.

The USA will effectively become part of Europe in terms of the GeoSIM call rates, meaning the same price to call anywhere within the US or Europe and with calls being received for free.

The convenience of having a US number and a UK number is huge for anyone who regularly travels between the two countries as it allows the “locals” to call on the relevant country specific number.

Launch date is scheduled for late March, early April.  A great deal of interest has already been shown in GeoSIM Dual, with pre release orders already being received from end users, resellers and distributors.
