No need to dial the UK country code when calling the UK.

As of today, GeoSIM Global roaming SIM card customers will no longer need to dial the UK country code (44) when calling a UK number.

Prior to today, if a call was being made to a UK number from either the UK or overseas, the full international number needed to be dialled.  i.e. 441234 567890  From today the number can now be dialed with the leading zero.  For example 01234 567890.

This means that users no longer need to edit their UK contacts to include the Uk +44 country code and can dial direct from their contact lists on their handset.

The new dialling format works when calling back to the UK from abroad, or if calling within the UK.

New lower data roaming rates in 62 countries on 116 networks

From the 1st December new data roaming rates are applicable in 62 countries across 116 networks in Europe, North America and the rest of the world.

Rates as low as £0.09 per MB in the USA and £0.62 per MB in Canada (down from £11.16!) mean you can Check emails access web pages, update Facebook and Tweet cost effectively when traveling. Data roaming in Europe costs as little as £0.35 per MB.
